Terms of Service

NibbleMaps is licensed through Apple's App Store. These terms cover your use of the app, Friends features, subscriptions, and the public website.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using NibbleMaps, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
2. App Store License and Apple EULA
NibbleMaps is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your license to use the iOS app is also subject to Apple's App Store terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement unless a separate custom license agreement is configured in App Store Connect.
The current public App Store listing links to Apple's Standard Terms of Use. These website terms are service terms for NibbleMaps and should not be treated as confirmation of a custom App Store EULA.
3. Accounts and Sign-In
NibbleMaps supports Sign in with Apple and Firebase email-link sign-in. You are responsible for the accuracy of account information you provide and for maintaining access to your device, Apple ID, email account, and iCloud settings.
4. Your Food Passport Content
You retain ownership of the stamps, saved places, notes, ratings, photos, profile details, and other content you create in NibbleMaps. You grant NibbleMaps the limited permission needed to store, sync, display, back up, and share that content as required to operate the app and the features you use.
5. Friends and Sharing
Friends features let users find each other by username, send or accept friend requests, and view food-map information made available through the app. Do not upload or share unlawful, harassing, infringing, private, or misleading content.
You are responsible for deciding what you add to NibbleMaps and who you connect with through Friends.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
NibbleMaps offers a free tier with the first 30 stamps and Pro subscriptions for unlimited stamps. The current public App Store listing shows Pro options at $1.99 per month and $14.99 per year.
- Purchases and renewals are billed by Apple through your App Store account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple before renewal.
- Cancellation, refund, renewal, and price-change handling are managed through Apple and your App Store account settings.
7. Third-Party Services
NibbleMaps depends on Apple services, Firebase Authentication, Vercel website hosting, and device platform features such as location, maps, photos, and camera permissions. Those services may have their own terms and policies.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse NibbleMaps, interfere with the app or website, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, abuse Friends or invite features, or use NibbleMaps for unlawful activity.
9. Intellectual Property
NibbleMaps, its branding, website, and software are owned by NibbleMaps and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or use NibbleMaps branding or software except as allowed by these terms and applicable law.
10. Availability and Disclaimers
NibbleMaps is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The app may depend on Apple, Firebase, Vercel, network access, and device settings. We do not guarantee that NibbleMaps will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available in every location.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NibbleMaps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or profits.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as NibbleMaps evolves. Updated Terms become effective once posted on this page.
