Privacy Policy

NibbleMaps 2.2.1 supports iCloud sync and Friends. Your stamps can sync through iCloud, and you can add friends by username to see their food maps.

1. What We Collect

NibbleMaps collects and stores only the information needed to run the app:

  • Restaurant stamps you create (name, date, notes, categories, and optional photos)
  • Saved places and filters you set
  • Friend usernames and account preferences needed to support Friends
  • App settings and iCloud sync preferences

2. Location Data

NibbleMaps can access your location when you add a stamp so the app can help place restaurants on the map. We do not track location in the background.

3. How Data Is Stored and Synced

  • NibbleMaps 2.2.1 can sync your stamp data through iCloud
  • iCloud sync is handled through your Apple ID and Apple's iCloud services
  • If you delete the app, synced data may be restored when you reinstall and sign in with the same Apple ID

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal stamp data with third parties for advertising or data brokerage. Friends features let other NibbleMaps users see the food map information you make available through the app.

5. Your Rights and Controls

You control your data directly in the app:

  • Export your data from Settings → Export
  • Delete individual stamps any time
  • Manage iCloud data through your Apple ID and device settings

6. Children's Privacy

NibbleMaps is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address the request.

7. Friends and iCloud Sync

Friends and iCloud sync are live in version 2.2.1. Friend discovery uses usernames, and iCloud sync keeps your supported stamp data available across devices signed into the same Apple ID.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
